Costa Rica West Valley Volcan Azul Villa Sarchi Anaerobic Natural

 

This coffee comes from Volcan Azul in Costa Rica's West Valley, produced by Alejo Castro Kahle at an altitude of 1,650–1,700 metres. Featuring the Villa Sarchi variety, it undergoes Anaerobic Natural processing and is light-roasted to highlight its distinctive fruit character.


The flavour profile centres on grape, jackfruit and grapefruit. Grape notes meet the tropical fruit character of jackfruit, complemented by the citrus character of grapefruit.


With its layered, fruit-forward profile, this coffee is an appealing choice for those who enjoy distinctive varieties and experimental processing methods.
